Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS Hospital) is a leading healthcare and medical education institution in Nellimarla, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2003 under the aegis of the Sri Rama Educational Trust (SRET).
Serving communities across North Andhra and parts of Odisha for more than two decades, MIMS brings together multispeciality and super-speciality healthcare, advanced diagnostics, emergency and critical care, surgical and interventional services, medical education, clinical training, research and community outreach.
Its integrated campus encompasses a teaching hospital, medical college, nursing college, nursing school and paramedical education institutes, supporting comprehensive healthcare delivery alongside the education and training of future healthcare professionals.

A Visionary Dedicated to Education, Healthcare and Social Service
The foundation of MIMS is closely associated with the vision of Late Dr. Alluri Murthyraju, an industrialist, educationist, philanthropist and social worker who dedicated much of his life to institution-building and support for the less privileged.
Driven by a strong commitment to social development, he envisioned institutions that could create opportunities in education, healthcare and community development. His elder brother, Mr. Satyanarayana Raju, and his contributions to the freedom movement, public life and social service were an important source of inspiration.
